Vastu Puja
Description :
According to the Matsya Purana, Vastu Purush is said to have originated from the sweat of Bhagwan Shiva. In the construction of houses or buildings, the role of Vastu is of utmost importance, starting from the worship of the land to the entry into the house. Vastu worship involves ensuring the deities residing in our land, house, office, or shop are content, aiming to prevent any issues from arising in those spaces. The Vastu Pujan includes chanting of prayers dedicated to various deities such as Gauri, Ganesha, Kalash, Navagraha, Matrika, Vishnu, Brahma, and Vastu Devta. Following this, the entry of God, a female, a cow, and a Brahmin is made. Subsequently, a havan is conducted in the kitchen after paying homage to Annapurna, the water god, and the fire god (Agni Dev). This puja is typically performed by 5, 7, or 9 Brahmins over the course of 5, 7, or 9 days. It serves as a comprehensive ritual to invoke positive energies, seek blessings, and ensure harmony within the premises.
Benefits :
Vastu worship primarily serves to alleviate the defects within a house, building, office, or shop, effectively dispelling negative energies and removing any prevailing obstacles. The ritual acts as a transformative force, ushering away adversities and fostering an environment conducive to success in both work and business endeavors. Through Vastu worship, one seeks to attain happiness, peace, and prosperity, ensuring the overall well-being and positivity of the space.
